Another rather cheesy headline, I know. But it’s cheesy for a reason, since I’ve found a real little gem today. As we all know, there are plenty of free impulse responses scattered all over the web, but rarely are they so well organized and neatly cathegorized as they are on irlibrary.org.
The cathegories range from real-world large hall reverbs like churches and concert rooms, to microphones and guitar cabinet impulses. There’s a small descripiton available for each of the files, explaining it’s origin along with file format details and author info. Seems like the website is still somewhat young though, as there’s no more 200 impulses available at the moment, but since everyone can contribute by uploading their own files, I hope this library will soon become much bigger.
