Jabberwalky has released LoSynth, a dirty sounding virtual analog monosynth available in VSTi format for Windows.

Imagine rummaging through an abandoned factory and finding this rusted box. This VST has been finely detuned, thrown around a lot, and left to rot for 40 years.

I still haven’t tested the plugin, but people over at KVR are reporting that it has a nice gritty character, and a pretty low CPU hit.

Main features of LoSynth VSTi:

  • 3 vcos – (Sine, Saw, Pulse, Noise) with coarse, fine tune, level, pulse width, PWM, lfo modulation, VCO1 lo freq, Hard sync
  • 24db Moog style filter – can be modulated by VCO1, or LFO1, self oscillating
  • 2 LFO’s – 4 assignable waveforms Sine, Saw, Pulse, Noise. Can reach extremely high frequencies
  • 2 ADSRs – Filter & Amp
  • Portamento/Glide Time
  • Mono/Poly mode
