Creamy Sonic Studios have released The Frankenstein Loops Session, a free set of acoustic drum loops.
This is a cool session with Charlie Keegan and his mad, wonderful, concoctions of drumming craziness. This kit was built by Charlie from spare and broken parts. It consists of a 22″ x 34″ kick drum, 14″ x 12″ and 16″ x 14″ snares, and 20″ hats. We have recorded several loops and individual drum samples.
The loops an samples are available for free download (link at the bottom of this post). If you use the samples or loops please credit www.creamysonicstudios.com and send an mp3 of the music. I would eventually like to do a post of tracks created using these loops. This download represents roughly half of the loops we recorded. If there is enough interest in this I will post up the remainder of them and possibly make apple loops of them.

onHi There, thanks for the post. I have a few other loop session in the works and plan to put up the rest from the “Frankenstein” session. If people sign up for the email updates on http://www.creamysonicstudios.com they will be notified when they are available. I hope people are getting good use from these and would be interested in hearing anything recorded using the loops.
