Free Roland TR-909 Sample Pack Released By Sounds Outside The Lines

Sounds Outside The Lines have released Revolution-909 FREE, a free version of their 9GB large Roland TR-909 drum machine sample library.

Sounds Outside the Lines is proud to announce “Revolution-909” a high quality sample library and Kontakt based instrument of the Roland TR-909 captured with high quality cables, a transformer balanced DI and Neve 1073 preamp through mastering grade converters.

Featuring an intuitive user interface that matches the original hardware, Revolution-909 was developed out of a desire to capture all of tonal variations, immediacy and groove of the original 909 drum machine in a software based plugin without using sound generated from digital algorithms but high quality, analog recordings of the original machine.

Also available is Revolution-909 FREE a free 909 kit made from the samples of Revolution-909 so everyone can audition the sonics of the instrument and samples before purchasing.

The free version features 11 drum samples in 24-bit WAV format and mappings for NI Kontakt and EXS24. A feature comparison between the free and complete versions is available here.
