Adventure Kid has released AKWF – NES 8-bit, a collection of basic waveforms captured from the Nintendo Entertainment System game console (aka NES).
Samples from Nintendo Entertainment System for your sampler or wavetable synthesizer. Tested with some of the common VST synthesizers and formatted so most samplers and synthesizers should be able to load them (44.1 khz 16 bit). As a bonus I´ve added a sample of the noise channel as well.
