Mad EP has released Vinyl Noises, a free collection of sampled vinyl record sounds and noises in AIFF format.
So today, I happened to be doing a bunch of sampling from vinyl anyway, so I also recorded a plethora of vinyl sounds… normal crackles to run out grooves to ground hum to noisy/dusty records to needle drops and more. I have always found best results in layering various crackling samples, looping them erratically, etc. so hopefully you’ll find enough to play with.
