  • Great! I loved the beta
This is definitely in my top 5 free VA synths

i also loved the beta, but the dev mentioned on KVR that he changed the filter (although not a lot). i’ll have to see if the sound changed too much since the beta version.

  • just tried this now and i love it, shame about the high cpu hit but il b using this a lot no doubt :D

  • yeah awesome but I don’t think it justifies the high cpu hit. I guess its back to Oatmeal for me then

    • well iv been using this all day today, with the few features it has its got A LOT of possibilities. im able to make sounds in here that iv never done in other synths
you can FM anything to anything and even the pwm and sync etc (sounds so clean as well)
this has already become one of my most favourite synths just because of how simple and powerful it is.

i loved the beta (although it was a bit buggy) and will test the 1.0 release later today. judging by your impressions, i’ll probably be blown away by it. :)

yeah, the cpu hit can be quite a drag. but, unless i’m playing live, i almost always bounce synth parts and leave as much CPU as possible for the effects. still trying to find free time to test MauSynth 1.0, btw.
