Vintage Tube Collection by CDSoundMaster.
CDSoundMaster has released Brimar Tube, a free tube preamp in VST plugin format for Windows (standalone plugin based on Nebula Technology).
The Brimar 13D5 is an excellent example of lively sound without unwanted brightness. It is able to exhibit some characteristics of higher gain without overt artifacts.
Brimar Tube is part of the commercial Vintage Tube Collection, and is available for free download via CDSoundMaster.

Yes, it does require online activation, just to anticipate… :-)
Are there any disadvantages because of the online activation? I have no problem to give away my email address for a good plugin (is it really good?), but I don’t want to get hundreds of emails…
nope, CDSoundMaster’s activation system is completely fair!
i was just wondering since there was no info on the download page, so i figured that perhaps it doesn’t require activation.
