Hmm…Kinda tempting, given how Kontact seems to be the most popular format for third party sample makers these days. Has NI ever offered a deal better than 50% off?
i dont think they have, however komplete 6 was 50% off on amazon last year (which is sorta more than 50% off, since the komplete package bundled together is a lot cheaper).
damnit i cant edit my post, i feel stupid typing mistakes haha
i’ve fixed the typos, it’s ok now. :)
They offered 50%-off November 2011.
And in July 2009 they offered Komplete 5 for $399 which was more than 50%-off at the time. (Today it goes for $499).
all in all, a tempting deal.
Guys, I need an advice – I will be buying ProTools M-Powered edition in august, but I will also need some qulaity sounds for composition work and arranging, some orchestral instruments and stuff like electric pianos etc. Quaility matters, but I’m on a budget, so.. I don’t know, if that bundled software will be enough (Xpand2, Structure Free sample player..), or it will be a good idea to buy some 3rd party software? Now, with Kontakt 5 on 50%, I’m thinking about it, but I also have the possibility to buy IK Multimedia Total Workstation Bundle II for the same price.. So, should I buy it (before I buy ProTools M-Powered), or should I not and just wait for ProTools and use whatever comes bundled with it? Thanks.
