Dan Wilson (aka Hideaway Studio) has released Triple Osc Poly Brass, a free polyphonic brass patch derived from raw Minimoog saw waveform samples.
Here is a big analog Poly Brass based on a triple sawtooth mix captured from the Minimoog and filtered in Kontakt using the diode ladder emulation with a significant amount of expression and movement programmed including random oscillator phase.
Triple Osc Poly Brass poly brass is available for free download via KVR Forums (download size is 5.85MB). After a quick test, all I can say is that it’s a lovely sounding and expressive instrument, up to par with Dan’s previous releases.
