Sampleism has released Ocean Harp, a free metallic percussive instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt (versions 2.4 and higher).
The Ocean Harp is a cheaper version of the now famous Waterphone, with a sound made famous by such films as the Matrix. This kit is made from the sounds of beating it’s rods with a beater (both metal and rubber).
Ocean Harp is available for free download via Sampleism (downoad size is 94.2 MB, the archive contains 134 samples in total).
This instrument was created by Sampleism member Pingu, and is based on the famous Waterphone. In other news, Pingu has reduced the prices of all of his currently released sample packs (Water Cymbal, Whirly Tubes, etc.) by 50%.
