Dust Equalizer by Signaldust.
Signaldust has released Dust Equalizer, a freeware analog modeled channel EQ in VST plugin format for Windows.
This is designed for “less is more” and comes with a pair of filters, pair of shelves and two mid-freq bells. This isn’t “quite” cookbook stuff. Have fun trying to match them with a stock EQ.
Dust Equalizer is available for free download via KVR Forums (32-bit Windows VST only, SSE2 required, 519kB download size). Note that some users on KVR are reporting problems with the GUI. I haven’t tested the plugin yet myself.

There was some initial pains with a new GUI framework, but they should be resolved now. Also experimental 64-bit version is now available.
