BA Tech Releases T-EQ, A Freeware Tilt Equalizer VST Plugin

T-EQ by BA Tech.

T-EQ by BA Tech.

BA Tech has released T-EQ, a freeware tilt equalizer with a tube preamp stage in VST plugin format for Windows (made with SynthMaker).

T-EQ is a basic tilt eq/preamp with a tube gain stage.

T-EQ is available for free download via BA Tech’s website (2,4MB download size, 32-bit Windows VST plugin).

There was a lot of discussion on KVR about BA Tech’s plugins and whether they’re just generic SynthMaker creations or not. Personally, I haven’t tested any of them, but it seems that the dev is putting a decent amount of work into his stuff. He recently launched an online shop for his commercial plugins, which can be found here.

  • There is TAL Tilt EQ too ;)
And you are sure about what you get with TAL.

oh man, i’ve never tried that one but many people say it’s awesome. i didn’t like the fact that it comes with such a small amount of bands.

  • you should try it, sometimes less is more. with some little twaeks you can get a real pumping fat bassdrum and so on. it is a clean eq but in combination with the variety of sound eqs with their saturation it sound perfect. try it ;)

i always combination some rough with some clean plugins like
    molot & density etc.

  • and also for me the time with 100 plugins in my vst folder is over. i try to use only a few plugins like in the old days with some machines and know them well. i wanna make music and not tweak for hours for nothing. that is my way to do it.

i’ve also greatly reduced the number of installed plugins. always better to have a few tools you learned well, than having a bunch of stuff you never use!

  • when startet with music making i have more fun and make better tracks with a drummachine a synth a mixer and a crap lofi multieffect. i spend hours with jamming this boxes ;)
