Meesha has released Damatriks, a freeware modular synthesizer (features a 9×14 mod matrix) in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
(via Rekkerd).
Damatriks is a “classic” modular synthesizer system VST plugin, inspired by the modular analog synths. With many different modules in place, endless creativity is guaranteed.
Damatriks is available for free download via Meesha’s website (2.8MB download size, 32-bit Windows VSTi plugin, made with SynthEdit). An audio demo is available on the download page.
I’m a big fan of Meesha’s Apollo analogue-style step sequencer, so I have high expectations for Damatriks. Seriously can’t wait to test this one!

does anyone needs another synthedit plugin in 2012 ???
tbh, i don’t see why i wouldn’t need a new SynthEdit plugin, as long as it’s a good and useful tool. a fine VST is a fine VST. there are numerous brilliant Synthedit creations out there!
sure there are a lot good synthedit creations out there. but for me a lot of them sounds the same and don´t have its own character. and maybe i don´t like this one because i´m not a big fan of modular and kind of modular synths. my favorite synthedit plugin is the kassiopeia from sonic assault.
Not bad, but 3 waveforms only cannot guarantee endless creativity… :-(
what i like though (judging by the screenshot, at least) is that it looks rather simple to program. sometimes with more complex modular synths (ie. Bazille), i have no idea where to start.
Even if Damatriks can’t convince me, I really like his music – he is a great musician, and he has an interesting live performance setup (judging by his photos) :-)
You’d be surprised what you can achive with 3 waveform types. And you have 3 individualisme oscillators and many cv routing options. Trust me, you have plenty of possibilities, just let your creativity create setting unique. :-) check out the audio demo…
