Tape Choir - Free Ableton Live Instrument Released By Do The Psychedelic

Do The Psychedelic has released Tape Choir, a free choir instrument for Ableton Live featuring multisampled voice recordings captured from tape.

This rack was made by multisampling my voice. If you try to play some chord you’ll get the magic of an ancient choir sound and you can also play the song “Because” by the Beatles if you can find the right tunes!

Do The Psychedelic is a project by Italian artists Dumbo Gets Mad and Venice. They are planning on releasing more free Ableton Live instruments on their site, so stay tuned.

All I can say is that I’m blown away by the currently available the audio demos (just listen to this) and that I really wish they start releasing instruments in other formats like NKI or SFZ.
