Masquarade by Terry West.
Terry West has released a beta version of Masquarade, his forthcoming freeware master channel equalizer in VST plugin format for Windows.
“Masquarade” Master Channel EQ v1.1 (beta freeware). The Beauty within the Beast unleashed.
Masquarade is available for free download via KVR Forums (1,6MB download size). This is a beta version (v1.1 release) and feedback is welcome, according to the developer.
The plugin features stereo and M/S modes, 11 frequency bands, 5 LP/HP filters, and supports full MIDI automation. The current version includes 23 presets.

Hey BPB.
This guy made like 20 EQs already. As far as I can tell, they all sound rather good. Still I don’t get why I’d need more than 4 different EQs. Can anybody give me some advice on this?

well, i don’t think anyone really needs more than 4-5 EQs. i believe that the best option is to use only a few different tools, but at the same time to fully understand what they do and what they’re best for.
i have more than ten EQ plugins installed, but i tend to use only 3 or 4 on a regular basis.
now… the fact that Terry has released so many EQs shows that he loves developing plugins, and i think that he tailors these tools to fit his own specific needs. each plugin he releases has a different set of features, which are probably chosen to fit his own workflow. and i think they’re great, too.
for example, his master channel strip practically has most of the tools you’d need for a quick master – EQ, compressor, limiter, a saturation stage, etc.
