Mildon Studios has released Pringles Drumkit, a free collection of percussion sounds made with a half-empty (pessimist much?) box of chips.
This famous canister starts crackling as soon as it leaves the table and doesn’t stop until you put it back down. With a little effort and the right slapping/shaking/tapping/chip-scratching/biting technique, we’ve turned this potato crisp popper into a complete drum machine.
Pringles Drumkit is available for free download via Mildon Studios (493kB download size, 1.63MB size on disk, contains 19 samples in 16-bit WAV format).
The pack also includes SFZ mappings for the samples. To load the mappings in SFZ format, use Zampler by Beat Magazine or Shortcircuit 1 by Vember Audio if you want more control over the individual sounds.
For more free stuff by Mildon Studios, take a look at the 30-Band Graphic EQ which was released only a couple of days ago. They also offer a nice little piano library called Lite Piano Free (no longer available).
The official Pringles Drumkit audio demo is hosted on Bedroom Producer Blog’s SoundCloud page with permission of Mildon Studios.

Lite piano free is not available anymore I don’t think.
ah, you’re right. thanks for the heads-up, i’ve updated the article.
Since I eat Pringle chips, my music is getting better and better… :-) OTOH I don’t have as much money as before because the Pringle chips are very expensive…
you’re right, they’re quite expensive if you look at them as a pack of chips. BUT, from the perspective of a drum kit, they’re actually quite cheap!
i can’t see a download-link at the site, so i had to search around and went to their mediafire site, where i also found the piano you guys were talking about i think (didnt check it though)
