Ambibell - Free Ambient M4L Synthesizer Released By Whitebox

Ambibell by Whitebox.

Whitebox has released Ambibell, a freeware ambiental virtual synthesizer made with Cycling 74′s Max for Live.

I’ve just released my first original Max for Live synth. It’s called Ambibell and is an ambient thing! Inspired by Ableton’s Ambient and Evolving instruments.

Ambibell is available for free download via Whitebox (340kB download size). Please note that Ableton Live and Max for Live are required in order to use this synthesizer.

The code which was used for this instrument is based on Pluggo’s Big Ben Bell, Chamberverb, Raindrops Stereo Filter Delay and Mormo’s Pitch Drop.

Whitebox has released several freeware VST plugins this year. Their ModMod instrument is included in BPB’s round-up of freeware FM synthesizers.
