Qirex has released the final version of Qirex Player, a freeware SFZ file format player in VSTi plugin format for Windows (32-bit only).
Qirex has released Qirex Player, a free SFZ player VST instrument plug-in for Windows.
Qire Player is available for free download via Qirex (3.6MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows, made with SynthMaker).
Unlike the beta version which was released a week ago, the final version of the plugin also features a built-in reverb module and an output lever meter.
However, it keeps the minimalistic approach which makes it an interesting alternative to more feature-packed tools like Zampler (my personal favorite), Shortcircuit 1 or Alchemy Player.

Anyone know if the native 64 bit version of this properly plays the Sonatina Symphony Orchestra SFZ? If it does, I think that may be the first for a freebie.
ah, sorry, i messed up! apparently, there’s no 64-bit version of this at all!
One can only dream:)Haha! Best hope on this is the soon to be released revised Alchemy Player.
Sorry BPB, Zampler?, are you refer beat zampler?

Several of the brass instruments in Sonatina sound badly out of tune when played with Qirex – where is the problem, in Sonatina or Qirex?
