BA Tech Releases N-BUS And Re-Releases All Plugins As Freeware

N-Bus by BA Tech.

N-Bus by BA Tech.

BA Tech has re-released all of his plugins as freeware and released a beta version of N-BUS, a freeware bus compressor VST plugin for Windows.

All plugins will be free. Yes, it’s true! Because I found financing for my first EP. I will add new download links.

N-Bus and all other BA Tech products are now available for free download via KVR Forums. All effects are offered as 32-bit VST plugins for Windows (made with SynthMaker).

There was a lot of discussion about the quality (or lack thereof) of these plugins, but at this point people seem pretty happy with the BA Tech stuff. I still haven’t tested any of these myself, but have a look in the KVR thread linked above if you’re looking for opinions from other users.

The collection contains a total of 20 plugins at the moment (plus the N-Bus which was released today and available as a separate download). It covers various effect types, however most of them are equalizers and compressors.

  • On the other side, opinions on KVR…

I stopped using their forums because it is full of “wannabe” knowing nothing to the subject.

The last time i stopped is when i read a “professional” mastering eng saying he doesn’t see why he should cut under 20Hz and over 20kHz on CD…whereas CD players don’t play those frequencies.

There are few funny and professional members on KVR.
Too bad they are lost in the mass.
Now i’m on Gearslutz and…no more headaches.

90% time, i just need the search engine.
And the 10% time left, i just ask a question and get a real answer.

90% of posts on KVR are just synths battles (like Sylenth1/Dune), DAWs battles (Reaper against the world), analog/digital, hardware/software and all that crap.

KVR is nothing to me now, after years of trying to find useful infos among the stacks of pure crap.

Sorry about not being on the subject, but it is time for ppl to know KVR is dead.

PS : i don’t even speak about kicked ppl because they criticized some devs, like Tone2.

    • KVR isn’t dead. It is intended to be a forum for the contact between developers of audio products (especially plugins) and users. And it’s a forum where you can meet other musicians and have some fun. That’s what I like about KVR. If I just want some water-proof audio-technical information, I read a tutorial or a good book.

OTOH what I hate about the KVR folk is that there are many people who take every word for serious and many threads end with something like that: “You have said what I didn’t say …why do you say it…you are a fool…you can’t say this because I said that you said what I haven’t said… :-()

yeah, things can get really bad on KVR from time to time. but as you said, it’s also a great place to communicate with the devs, etc.

all in all, simply ignore the bad guys and there’s nothing to worry about.

well, i like both forums (Gearslutz and KVR), but i spend more time on KVR. it’s true that the conversation can often go off topic (a lot!), but on its good days KVR is still a great place. good humor over there, too.

  • i like both KVR and gearsluts, i only prefer KVR because of the database, OSC competitions and marketplace. i dont care about peoples opinions on software etc, if you dont like certain threads then don’t read them :D

  • BTW, does anyone know what happened to Gersic? They have a great plugin database, too, but I don’t see any sign of life there…

    • Bedroom Producers Blog

yeah, Gersic is brilliant! it’s not active anymore, but i’m glad that the database is still up and running. some of the plugins hosted on there aren’t available for download elsewhere.
