CWI Technology has released v2.0 of TX16Wx, a freeware sampler instrument in VSTi plugin format for Windows.

The original version of TX16Wx was loosely based on the Yamaha TX16W hardware sampler. However, the new version of TX16Wx brings an improved workflow (more suitable for a software sampler), as well as a long list of new features.
I’ve tested TX16Wx v2.0 for a while (mainly with SFZ files) and it’s now in my Top 2 favorite freeware samplers, along with Shortcircuit 1. I still use Shortcircuit 1 on stage, though.

Nice. Great workflow and functionality. Had some bugs with the beta that all seem fixed.
