TesslaPRO mkII by Variety Of Sound.
Variety Of Sound has released TesslaPRO mkII, a long-awaited new version of their brilliant TesslaPro saturation effect.
Already announced in April this year and with several delays, the TesslaPRO mkII version is finally available!
TesslaPRO mkII is available for free download via Variety Of Sound (6.3MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
The new version bring numerous improvements, including five different coloration models (three console style models, one tube stage and one tape saturation model) and various code optimizations which reduce the CPU hit by 40% when compared to the original version.
Of course, TesslaPRO mkII features the stateful saturation algorithm which was introduced with the Thrillseeker series. Speaking of Thrillseeker plugins, you can read this well-written review of Thrillseeker XTC by Rick Saxby.
