Variety Of Sound has released v1.0.1 of ThrillseekerLA, a freeware compressor VST plugin for Windows.
ThrillseekerLA – digital stereo leveling amplifier with truly analog qualities. Sophisticated and deep gain riding full of musical character and attitude but with virtually no inter-modulation (IM) distortion artifacts.
ThrillseekerLA is available for free download via Variety Of Sound (3.5MB download size, 32-bit VST plugin format for Windows).
The new version introduces stronger 2nd and 3rd harmonics added in the interstage, as well as revised and simplified link algorithm. It also features an improved sidechain filter.
ThrillseekerLA is a great choice for a coloring compressor. I often add it to channels which need some analogue mojo and dirt (Molot is another great freeware choice for that task).
