Beat Magazine has released Aalto Beat Edition as a free download for everyone who likes their Facebook page.
Aalto by Madrona Labs mastermind Randy Jones turns out to be very special sound generator, which demonstrates its strengths in experimental sounds and modulation orgies. Become a Beat fan on our Facebook page and download the plug-in!
Aalto Beat Edition is available for free download via Beat Magazine’s Facebook page (17.5MB download size, 32-bit & 64-bit VST plugin for Windows).
As far as I could figure out, the only limitation of Aalto Beat Edition when compared to the full product is that it is monophonic. The full version of Aalto can be purchased for $99 via Madrona Labs.
You can also get Eisenberg Einklang LE for free, if you register on Beat Magazine’s newly launched SerialCenter. Simply create an account and you will receive a download link in your inbox!
Many thanks to Irion Da Ronin and Martin for sharing the news about these magnificent freebies!

Don’t miss this one guys, a must have !
where to DL zampler sound pack?
unbelievable! Instant get I think :)
I hope the change-preset-bug in Aalto have been fixed already.
Have a nice day :)
Aalto kicks. Very impressive, in the vein of ACE (fat, dynamic…).
But frankly Eisenberg Einklang prove a nice concept can lead to just an average sounding synth.
Sorry to say that, but i know countless synths that can produce such sounds…and even better.
Of course, it is supposed to be “user experience” oriented.
But a synth is supposed to create inspiring sounds too, not only being “user friendly”. Because if you go on this side, you just need that :

Face it, there are about 3000 synths now, many of them free or dirt cheap, that can do practically any decent sound aside from the insane CPU setting on Diva. To my mind it isn’t about that or fancy noises at all. I have an arsenal of top and Custom Shop Fenders nowadays, but I did some of my best work back in the days when I had beat-to-crud real beater Teles and Strats. It’s NOT what the synths can do for you, it’s what YOU can do with the synths. It’s been this way in music for several thousand years. Why are all the younger musicians not learning this now? Big holes in attitudes and approaches these days, and that’s why most of the new music rots. Personally, I’m fed up with this plugin (Waves, UAD, Sylenth) one-upmanship. That’s got nothing to do with being a musician or composer. That rubbish brought in by the nasty MI marketing and sale people who know absolutely nothing about creating music. Imagine if I told my surgeon which scalpel he must use to cut me open during an operation. Just tools, people. Aren’t worth 10 cents if you can’t play or write well. Just ones and zeds then.
i agree, i create synths a little myself but i never put them out until i know its very different & adds something new to the pallete. usually every idea has already been thought of & every sound can pretty much be created using your DAW’s fx but i know there are many ideas for synths that we still haven’t seen yet.
My synth can beat up your synth!
How am i supposed to download the synth?
cant download- i’ve liked all their pages like 3 times each cant see any link and if i return to a page it isn’t registering that i already liked it.. :(

It is easy. Good luck :)
Aalto is really cool! It’s fun and interesting.
Einklang is pretty lame, not worth downloading.
If you try it after Aalto you’ll fall asleep :-)
Download via Facebook? No thanks.
I have a Facebook account only for such purposes :-)
Aalto is really worth it! Great synth, I might buy the full version in the future.

In general I completely agree though, this way of getting Likes on FB is terrible! But after you’ve downloaded, you can just UNLIKE them again. That’ll teach’em! No harm, no foul! ;-)
cheers Irion, went back today and the download link was there.. didn’t show yesterday no matter what i did tho,, downloading now :)
Aalto is the one for me…it aint yer daddys subtractive synth, thats for sure. Randy Jones is a true gentleman and scholar. 99 dollars is a steal if you’re into experimentation and don’t mind tweaking away for hours on end, finding one great sound after another. Get it!
ps dunno if its on the beat edition but 1.32 has “Save as Version” for patches so you can quick-save variations, great time saver, anyone else have it?
