How To Make Electronic Music has released a collection of free kick drum samples created by the Finnish producer Markus Hakala.
With the permission of Markus Hakala, I gathered all of his awesome kick drum samples into one, single package. So in total, this pack contains 500 free wall shaking, powerful and punchy kick drums. It should keep you satisfied for a loooong time!
All the samples in this pack were created from scratch by Markus Hakala, who gave How To Make Electronic Music the permission to re-distribute the samples and make them available for free download.
The samples are suitable for use in various genres of electronic dance music. Most of them will work well in the context of techno and trance music and less so in modern types of EDM. It seems that most of the kick sounds were designed using some form of analog/subtractive synthesis. There’s plenty of sub-bass, so these kick drums are also useful for layering underneath other bass drum samples for added punch and weight.
You can download the samples for free without signing up. There are 500 kick samples in total, available in 24-bit and 32-bit versions.

I tend to reduce my kicks number…because when you search for one, you spend more time than making it from scratch, so it is pointless :D

With that plugin, you can already delete a big part of your collection.
I keep very good processed samples anyway, because it is where things become serious.
