B.Serrano has released Dionysos, a freeware FM/subtractive/additive synthesizer in VSTi plugin format for Windows (made with SynthEdit).
Hybrid synthesizer: Substractive, FM and Additive. Additional separate outputs. Can simulate component unstability.
Dionysos is available for free download via B.Serrano’s website (2.9MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows).
The instrument features 3 different synthesis engines and some cool features such as multiple outputs and audio in! You’ll also find a built-in step sequencer (with 32 steps) and an XY pad.
Unfortunately there are no audio or video demos available yet. Please let me know if you create a demo of this synth and I’ll add it to the article.
