Astral Dreamer by HG Fortune.
HG Fortune has released a public beta version of Astral Dreamer, a forthcoming synthesizer in VSTi plugin format for Windows.
Surprise, surprise: Astral Dreamer new plugin VSTi synthesizer! It features a completely new set of waves never been used in prior plugins though a few have been used for the Wusikstation soundset ‘Analog Realms’ and in the ‘Alien Vanguard’ bank for Waldorf Blofeld.
Astral Dreamer is available for free download at KVR Audio (36.2MB download size, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows).
The instrument features 3 PCM wave oscillators, each with 128 waveforms and a harmonics shaper. There are also 2 filter modules, and built-in flanger and delay effects.
I’m not sure how much Astral Dreamer will cost once it gets the official release, although I’m pretty sure a freeware version will be available too (since HG Fortune is awesome enough to offer free versions of almost all of his synths).
