HG Fortune has announced that his previously commercial Alien Space Weaver Pro virtual synthesizer for Windows is now available for free download and use.

The BIG Holidays Surprise NFG: Alien Space Weaver Pro – “The Eeriator” for free now! This is a very exceptional synth as it is especially made for spacey or dark athmospheric backgrounds and FX sounds.

Alien Space Weaver Pro is available for free download via KVR Audio (114 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows, made with SynthEdit).

The synth was originally released back in 2009 and priced at €39, although a feature limited free version was also available. HG Fortune has now released the full version of Alien Space Weaver Pro as a free Christmas gift for everyone!

Like many other HG Fortune products, this is a fantastic instrument for creating SFX sounds and atmospheric pads. It is a 2 oscillator virtual synthesizer with 128 waveforms per oscillator. Each waveform is actually a pretty long audio sample which already sounds interesting on its own and can be further shaped using the Alien Space Weaver Pro synthesis engine.
