Hephaestus Sounds has released Clean Guitar, a free electric guitar sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Clean Guitar is available for free download via Hephaestus Sounds (71 MB download size, 7Z archive, contains 1 instrument preset in NKI format for NI Kotakt).

The instrument is based on a collection of 330 clean 24-bit quality audio samples of an electric guitar. The guitar was sampled in four different setups, including great sounding plucked and slide modes.

The custom Kontakt interface features a handy strumming mode ensuring a more natural sounding performance. It is possible to switch between four available sound modes on the fly. My favorite one is the Amp 4×12 mode which features the sound of a real guitar amplifier.
