EternitySound has released a small but great sounding collection of dubstep/electro snare samples as a preview of their commercial Chunky Snares sample collection.
I’m really proud to announce the release of EternitySound’s “Chunky Snares” sample pack. It’s mainly focused on Dubstep, Drumstep, Electro, Complexctro and so on, but should be useful for a variety of other electronic genres.
Chunky Snares taster pack is available for free download via EternitySound (1.82 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 10 snare samples in 24- bit WAV format).
The taster pack is available as a direct free download from the EternitySound website. No registration is required, so simply hit the download link to get your free copy of the taster pack. The samples included in the freebie pack are royalty free and aren’t included in the commercial version of the Chunky Snares sample library. This means that even if you purchase the full version of the pack, it’s still worth downloading the freebie pack to get an extra set of snare samples.
The full version of Chunky Snares is priced at $7.99 and contains 150 additional snare samples in WAV format. The snares were designed for use in dubstep, trap, complextro, electro, and similar genres of electronic dance music. This type of music requires an aggressive and punchy snare sound and Chunky Snares definitely delivers in that department.
I don’t usually feature small taster packs such as this one, but the quality of the included snare really caught me by surprise in this case. If you’re looking for snappy and hard hitting snare samples for your next complextro or dubstep tune, this free sample pack would be a great place to start.
I would love to see more sample packs from EternitySound in the future. Hopefully there’s a kick sample collection coming soon, or perhaps even a full drum sample library!
