Wave Alchemy has released DRM Drums, a complete free collection of drum samples captured from the Vermona DRM analogue drum machine.
DRM Drums serves up over 380 drum samples from a vintage (1986) Vermona DRM drum machine. All samples have been lovingly recorded through an API pre-amp with each sound boasting eight round robin variations and four accent (velocity) layers!
DRM Drums is available for free download via Wave Alchemy (21.9 MB download size, ZIP archive, contains 380 audio samples in 24-bit WAV format, mappings for NI Kontakt & NI Battery).

Vermona DRM is a relatively new analogue drum machine (released in 2001) featuring eight different drum sounds with nine parameters for each sound. It is a truly analogue instrument and until recently it was a pretty unique offering on the market. Nowadays we already have a few analogue drum machines to choose from, and man I honestly can’t wait for that Rhythm Wolf release.
As always, Wave Alchemy has created a great sounding drum sample collection. All of their releases so far have been fantastic and DRM Drums is no exception.
