Samples From Mars have released Free Drum Machines From Mars, a small but great sounding selection of legendary drum machine sounds hand-picked from their commercial sample libraries.
We have a free 16 sound sample kit that just went up on the site. It features a little of everything – Linn, 808 / 909, CR-78, and a chunk of Simmons SDS-800 samples. Now ditch the warm weather / girlfriends and head to the studio!
The download pack features a set of 16 drum machine samples, including a nice selection of legendary Roland TR-808 and TR-909 sounds, a LinnDrum clap, Roland CR-78 hihats, and several Simmons SDS-800 hits. All included samples were selected from commercial Samples From Mars releases, all of which are available for purchase on their official website linked below.

This isn’t a huge kit, but all the included samples sound exceptionally nice. You should definitely grab it if you’re hooked on drum machines (I know how you feel!) and also consider checking out the Tape Drum Machine Samples bundle by Samples From Mars if you want to grab all of their samples at a reduced price.
