Transistor Kicks – Free 808 Bass Drum Sample Pack By The Boom Boutique

Newly launched online store The Boom Boutique has announced the release of Transistor Kicks, a free collection of Roland TR-808 kick drum samples in WAV format.

“Transistor Kicks” is the first release from B808M and exclusively available here on The Boom Boutique. This pack includes 50 amazing kick drum samples guaranteed to add punch to your productions.

The sample pack is available exclusively on The Boom Bootique, a new online store which specializes in sample libraries created with the Roland TR-808 drum machine. They’re already offering several interesting TR-808 sample packs created by other sound designers and I must admit that it’s quite interesting to see a sample store focused at a single drum machine. It would be nice to see some unusual 808 packs there in the future.

The freebie Transistor Kicks sample pack contains 50 individual drum kicks samples in 24-bit WAV format. I browsed through the included bass drum samples and it’s certainly a nice little set of 808 kicks, ranging from short punchy ones to long kicks with loads of sub.
