Nigel Good Massive Micro Essentials Volume 1 is a free collection of presets for NI Massive with an additional set of chord progressions in MIDI format produced by Freshly Squeezed Samples.
I can’t put the presets to test because I don’t own NI Massive, however judging by the demo track embedded below it seems that the sound bank contains a nice sounding and vesatile selection of modern electronic dance music sounds. The sound bank contains 38 presets in total, all of which were crafted by Nigel Good from Freshly Squeezed Samples. Each included preset comes with a set of eight unique macro controls, which make it easy to tweak various parameters of the given patch during a performance.
The other part of the download pack consists of 68 chord progressions in MIDI format. These are pretty neat if you need some inspiration for a new house or electro track, or if you like using MIDI sequences to trigger your synthesizer of choice while creating new sounds. All included presets and MIDI files are completely royalty free and you’re allowed to use them in commercial music projects completely free of charge.
Before downloading the freebie pack, you’ll need to register for a user account at Freshly Squeezed Samples. The registration process is completely free, however you’ll need to verify your email address before logging in for the first time.
