Samples From Mars are giving away a huge collection of drum machine samples to one lucky BPB reader. Enter the giveaway for a chance to win a bundle of high quality DrumTraks, Simmons SDS-800, Roland TR-808, TR-909 and CR-78 samples by SFM!
Their brand new Drumtrax Sample Library contains 384 tape processed samples recorded from the legendary Sequential Circuits DrumTraks drum machine. The samples were recorded to a 1/4″ reel to reel for some of that beautiful tape saturation which always sounds great on drums. The kick drum was also processed with the SP-1200 sampler to add a bit of 12-bit grit on top. The pack contains these processed samples, as well as the raw samples which capture the original sound of the drum machine without any additional coloration.
It’s also worth noting that each drum hit was sampled at different pitches, so the pack contains 16 different versions of each drum hit. All included sounds are provided in 24-bit WAV format.
