As announced in one of my previous posts (and supported by you guys!), here’s an article covering some of the interesting freebies which didn’t make it into the main news section for last week. This new section of the site is now officially called BPB Freebie Sunday. Enjoy!
Last week we were introduced to tons of free sounds and instrument patches, crafted by some talented and generous sound designers. Here’s the full list of the goodies which you can download for free:
- ADSR Sounds has launched a freebies section on their website, offering a wide range of free instrument patches and audio samples from their commercial product line.
- Function Loops Label Sampler 4 features 1 GB of free samples from the latest commercial releases by Function Loops. They’ve also released two commercial sample packs called EDM Vocals and In Trance We Trust.
- Paper Towel and Local Cafe Sounds is the brand new Ableton Live freebie by our friend AfroDJMac.
- SHINE is an interesting instrument ensemble for NI Reaktor, created by Sound Author. It is an FM synthesizer with unison support and independent pitch controls!
- Free Sample Pack is a collection of free audio loops from various commercial projects by Audiomodern. The included loops are 100% royalty free and available as such for use even in commercial projects.
- Ethno Taster is a free sample pack by Rast Sound, featuring a selection of free sounds from their commercial releases. It’s a nice collection of ethnic/world sounds. You’ll find more free goodies on their FREE STUFF page.
- SAMPLE THIS part 5 brings a nice collection of raw sawtooth samples from the Yamaha CS15 analogue synthesizer, sampled by Sordid Business. A neat SFZ patch is also available for free download on the product page.
- Soaring Leads For FM8 is a free collection of presets created by our reader Oscar Begelund. Follow his FB page to grab the download link and add some neat modern leads to FM8. Check out the audio demo on SoundCloud.
- Synth 1 Trance Templates is a free collection of trance sounds for the legendary Synth1 synthesizer, crafted by Trance Techno Soundbanks. Check out the official demo video on YouTube.
- Emerson Soundpack is an interesting free sample pack by Kyle Mohr. It contains a nice selection of samples which were recorded from various toys. Supports Ableton Live, NI Traktor, and any WAV compatible sampler or DAW.
- Molecular Origins is a free collection of presets for NI Massive, crafted by Noisecrux. The free pack contains 16 presets in total.
