Drumdrops Updates All Of Their Drum Sample Libraries And Gives Away 5 Kits! (CLOSED)

Drumdrops have announced that they’ve updated the multi-velocity packs for all six of their currently available acoustic drum kit sample libraries. They are also giving away five free drum kits of choice to five lucky BPB readers!

So, what’s new in the updated versions of the multi-velocity packs? Before we get to that, just a note that all Drumdrops drum kits are available in five different versions, offering different kinds of mappings and other features:

• The Kontakt Pack
• Multi-Velocity Pack
• Single Hits Pack
• Drum Replacement Pack
• All Samples Pack

First off, the new multi-velocity packs now include detailed instrument mappings for the freeware TX16Wx sampler (which is included in our list of freeware sampler plugins). The mappings have been created by Suleiman Ali, a virtual drum instrument connoisseur who is also my colleague in Soundbytes Music Magazine. The new patches for TX16Wx are absolutely great and you can now get the best of Drumdrops multi-velocity packs even if you don’t own commercial samplers such as Kontakt or Battery.

The updated multi-velocity packs also include a EXS24 patch for use in Logic X, along with over 500 brand new drum loops in MIDI format. The included MIDI loops can be used in any DAW and they cover a variety of music genres. The included drum grooves have been performed live by a variety of Drumdrops drummers.

The multi-velocity packs are normally priced at £15, except for the Yamaha Hybrid Kit which costs £7. Existing customers can download the updated multi-velocity pack for free and get a 20% discount on another multi-velocity pack by entering MV20 as the coupon code at checkout.
