Sinevibes has announced that their unique audio manipulation and signal shaping tool called Turbo will be available as a completely free download from their website until December 18th!
If you’re a Windows user, don’t get too excited about this one, because Turbo is (just like all of the other tools developed by Sinevibes) a Mac only effect, available exclusively in AU plugin format. But if you’re a Mac user, you will certainly like this one!
Obviously, I’m not able to review this plugin because I don’t own a Mac, however judging by the demo video and the description on the developer’s website, this effect seems to be a waveshaper with some additional randomization and automation features. The audio signal can be processed by six different sine-based transfer functions and further shaped on the output with several different types of filters.
Generally speaking, Sinevibes products look pretty neat and people often ask why they are available only for Mac. The official response from the developers is that their code is fully optimized for high performance on Mac OS and that it wouldn’t be possible to deliver the same level on quality on other platforms without changing the code drastically.
To grab your free copy of Turbo, simply visit the product page linked below and click the download link. Please note that the offer expires on December 18th and the plugin won’t be free after that! So if you find this tool interesting, grab it now before it’s too late.
I would like to thank BPB reader pisces for letting me know about this freebie. It could have easily slipped under my radar because I’m having yet another super busy week (I’m REALLY looking forward to the holidays). Thanks for the support man!
