S4S Holiday Soundpack is a free Ableton Live sample pack by Soundpack 4 Soundpack, featuring various Christmas themed samples which were chopped up and prepared for use in Live.
Soundpack 4 Soundpack is a group of four talented individuals who have been releasing tons of awesome sound packs recently. Their freebies are optimized for finger drumming and for use with specialized MIDI trigger controllers, but you can also use them with any other MIDI input device. Individual samples in WAV format are also included.

Five members of the Soundpack 4 Soundpack have teamed up to release “The S4S Holiday Soundpack”, a free Ableton Live soundpack which features memorable Christmas samples and other holiday-themed sounds.
The different members each worked on an individual sound bank in order to create the mega-soundpack. Each bank features a soundpack mapped across 16 drum pads in a drum rack that can be used to finger drum in Ableton Live as soon as you load the pack.
The four banks included in the pack are:
- Bank 1 (Alex Medvick & Kyle Mohr) – various samples ranging from The Nutcracker to the movie Elf, heavy layered basses, and strings and sleigh-bells.
- Bank 2 (Desmodus) – punchy drums mixed with large string bass and samples from Last Christmas.
- Bank 3 (Apoth) – distorted 808 style drums mixed with vocal and orchestral samples from The 12 Days of Christmas.
- Bank 4 (Vide) – drums layered with holiday percussion, snaps and clicks, and catchy samples from Disney classics.
Once you extract the downloaded ZIP archive and open the included project file in Ableton Live, save the drum rack and then will have the sound pack installed. If you don’t use Ableton Live, open the “samples” folder if you’d like to grab the individual sounds and use them in your favorite sampler instrument.
Also included is a Traktor Remix kit for use with Traktor DJ Software.
You’ll need to be logged in to your DJ TechTools user account (or create one if you’re not registered already) in order to download the free sample pack. The registration process is completely free and you’re not required to verify your email address.
