Music producer and sound designer Timur Arynov aka MyoSS has announced the release of Closer, a collection of organic tech loops covering drums, percussion and SFX sequences. We are giving away one free copy of the pack which was kindly provided by Timur as a gift to BPB readers!
This interesting loop collection contains 230 drum and SFX loops in total, all of which were recorded at 120 BPM and are included in the pack as 44.1 kHz / 24-bit WAV files. The loops were designed primarily for use in techno and tech house music production, however they have a lovely organic vibe which will perfectly accommodate many other styles of electronic music.
Timur used a variety of different sound sources while creating this loop collection, some of which include his own vocal recordings, street noises, hand claps and synthesized drum hits. The loops are organized into kick drum sequences, snares and claps, percussive loops, hi-hat loops, build-up sound effects and street noise loops.
If you’re interested in taking a look at some of Timur’s previous work, you should definitely check out his free Dark Engine sample library which was released on 99Sounds. Timur has also published an awesome free collection of experimental impulse responses called Saturn cIRcles, along with a free sample collection called Brute Planet.
Closer is priced at $10 and it can be purchased via Bandcamp. Take a listen to the audio demo at the top of this article, or scroll down to enter our giveaway for a chance to win a free copy of this cool loop collection!
The Giveaway
As always, entering giveaways on BPB is very easy. All you need to do in order to enter the giveaway this time around is to leave a comment in the comments section below, answering the following question:
How many hours per day do you spend making music (on average)?
The question is there to make things more interesting, however what really counts in the giveaway is the number of your comment. If you leave the sixteenth comment on the page, your number in the lucky draw will be #16. The giveaway ends on February 9th and the winner will be announced on this page (we will also contact the winner via email, so make sure that you don’t make a typo when entering your email address).
Only one comment per person is allowed. Also, please don’t reply to anyone else’s comments below, because doing so completely messes up this hyper-advanced state-of-the-art giveaway system.
Good luck everyone and thanks for reading BPB!
The winner is Shannon McDowell, congratulations! :)
The prize will be delivered via email.
Thanks everyone for joining in!
