Klevgränd Produktion Vandelay Is FREE Until Cyber Monday!

Klevgränd Produktion has announced that the unique Vandelay virtual effect for Windows and Mac OS is offered as a free download on their website until November 30th.

Vandelay is a multi-band delay unit with three separate delay lines in total (one for each frequency band). It was originally released as a freeware plugin back in October last year, but the price was increased to $14.99 after the initial promo period. Vandelay is now free to download once again, but only for a limited time, as the offer expires on Cyber Monday!

Similar to other effects in Klevgränd Produktion’s product arsenal, Vandelay sports an innovative user interface that is optimized for use with touch screens. You can still control it with your computer mouse or MIDI keyboard, of course, but a touch sensitive computer screen would work much better.

Either way, Vandelay is definitely unlike any other delay effect you’ve used before, with unique pitch modulation capabilities that can be used to create very complex delay sequences. The plugin’s visual concept and control scheme might be a bit complicated to grasp at first (partly due to the lack of a user manual), but you’ll certainly figure it out after playing around with the controls for a few minutes. The plugin also includes a set of twenty factory presets which provide a nice starting point for building your own patches. It’s worth pointing out that Vandelay is a stable and very well optimized VST plugin. It consumed around 3% of available CPU resources on our test machine.

To download Vandelay for free, simply add it to your shopping cart on the product page linked below and proceed to free checkout. There’s no registration or activation process involved. The ZIP archive containing the DLL file is downloadable right after completing the checkout procedure and there’s no need to verify your email address (although it would make sense to sign up for Klevgränd Produktion’s mailing list in order to stay up to date with new plugin releases, as well as promo offers such as this one).
