- Marco Scherer is offering the Dangerous Drums sample collection for €1.99 instead of the regular €5.99 price. The library contains 20 drum kits for Maschine, Kontakt 5, Battery and other popular sampler formats.
- kiloHearts are offering a 30% discount for any purchase during their Holiday Sale.

- Klevgränd Produktion is giving away the SquashIt multi-band distortion VST/AU plugin on BPB this Christmas!
- Native Instruments are offering the Blocks Wired synthesizer pack for Reaktor 6 Player as a free download on their website.
- WOK has prepared a Christmas present for everyone who sends a message to his email address between December 24th and December 26th.

onI live in Brighton where Pluginboutique and Loopmasters are. Chatted to them a few times. Couldn’t believe the huge, some 80% discounts on pricey plugins. I presume a lot were ones that people weren’t buying but it kind of tells you something ie. Profit margin, overpriced massively. Wasn’t happy that DopeVSTs Cratedigger was half price on that stupid Black Friday thing a couple of months after I bought it. Had a moan by email but didn’t do any good. That and the same companies Bass Engine are well worth it if u make hip hop but its Reaper, MPC and free plugins all the way!

onOh yes, the discounts can be a blessing and a curse! But it does seem that more and more people are simply waiting for special offers on software and soundware before purchasing anything, which does make sense.
