Wolfgang Krumme Announces Free WOK XMAS 2015 Pack

German developer Wolfgang Krumme has announced that everyone who sends him an email between December 24th and December 26th this year will instantly receive WOK XMAS 2015, an excellent collection of virtual instruments in 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows.

Wolfgang Krumme (also known as WOK) has been a significant figure on the indie VST plugin scene ever since the early days of SynthEdit based plugin development. Having released dozens of free and commercial plugins throughout the years (one of which ranked as the #3 utility VST plugin in our last year’s round-up of the best freeware plugins), in early 2015 WOK announced that he had to abandon all future work on plugin development due to personal reasons. You can read all about it here.

WOK is now releasing a fantastic collection of his old commercial VST plugins as a free Christmas gift for everyone interested. To download the WOK XMAS 2015 plugin collection, all you need to do is send him an email (more info available in the download section below). You will instantly receive an email containing a download link and a password for extracting the downloaded archive.

The pack contains twelve different VST plugins, including a Vermona Kick Lancet style kick drum synthesizer, an awesome virtual string machine, a drone generator, a bassline synthesizer and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. The plugins are completely free to download and use, the only limitation being that you’ll need a 32-bit Windows based VST plugin host application.
