Drumdrops are launching the brand new Vintage Folk Rock Kit for Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 (full version of Kontakt is required). The product will go online today at 4PM BST with 15 free copies available for the quickest visitors and reduced pricing for the first 50 customers.
With this latest addition their lineup of excellent virtual acoustic drum instruments for Kontakt, Drumdrops have stepped things up by including a brand new Kontakt engine developed by Divergent Audio. The new Vintage Folk Rock Kit instrument comes with even more features than Drumdrops’ earlier Kontakt releases, such as the brand new built-in mixer with direct channel routing to the DAW’s mixer, new channel effects, new master bus effects, as well as the excellent Mic Mix section to take control over the five microphones that were used to record the kit.

In practice, the samples sound fantastic which isn’t much of a surprise for a Drumdrops library. The Kontakt instrument, though, is snappier, more polished and easier to use than ever before. This is a serious step up for an already fantastic lineup of virtual drum kits for NI Kontakt.
