Wave Alchemy has released a free taster pack containing a set of 25 audio loops from their latest Mainroom DnB (£24.95) commercial sound library.
Even though the taster pack contains only 25 free sounds from the full release, the quality of the included loops makes it more than worth the download effort. The included loops sound fantastic, so if you’re planning to experiment with DnB production in near future, you should definitely add these free loops to your sound arsenal (the freebie loops are also royalty free, even for use in commercial releases).
Of course, building your own drum loops and bass lines from scratch is one of the most satisfying components of the music making process, but I’m discovering more and more that working with loops and recycling them into something different can be tons of fun and doesn’t take away from your creativity in any way. On the contrary, starting with a drum loop and slicing, rearranging and processing it into something completely new is becoming one of my favorite activities in my DAW.
Back on topic, the full version of Mainroom DnB contains is priced at £24.95 and contains over 600 MB of high quality audio material. REX, Apple Logic and Ableton Live 9 templates are also included, bringing the total size of the download to 1.9 GB. All included loops are labeled by BPM and ready for use in your DAW or sampler of choice.
In order to download the free version of the library, you’ll need to sign up for a Wave Alchemy user account. The registration process is completely free and it will also grant you access to dozens of other freebie packs offered by the Wave Alchemy label on their official website.
