In celebration of “909 Day”, F9 Audio has released the free 909 Day Pack sample library, Loopmasters and Prime Loops have launched special TR-909 themed sales and Roland has announced the new TR-09 drum machine, the latest addition to the Roland Boutique product lineup.
909 Day Pack by F9 Audio is a free collection of Roland TR-909 samples and drum loops. The pack contains 30 one shot drum hits and 13 stem files in total. The one shot samples are sorted into two drum kits – the “Detroit Kit” which features a set of superbly processed 909 hits and the “SP1200 Kit” which features a collection of 909 drums that were passed through the E-mu SP-1200 sampler. Both included kits sound fantastic, especially the “Detroit Kit” which is one of the best TR-909 sample sets we’ve ever heard.
