U-He Beatzille Is FREE To Download @ Beat Magazine

In celebration of reaching 20,000 fans on their official Facebook page, Beat is giving away the excellent Beatzille virtual modular synthesizer by U-He to everyone interested.

Beatzille is a less powerful, feature-limited version of U-He’s commercial Bazille virtual instrument. It features fewer oscillators, filters, effects and modulation sources than the full version and it also doesn’t feature voice stacking. On the other hand, Beatzille’s reduced feature set results in a lower overall CPU usage, which can actually be quite helpful for users with lower end computers.

Also, despite its limitations compared to Bazille, Beatzille is not a lightweight instrument by any means. The plugin comes with plenty of functionality to keep the serious synth geeks entertained for quite a while, while also packing a decent selection of factory presets for the beginners to explore and customize. Needless to say, in terms of sound quality and user experience, Beatzille provides everything you’d expect from a U-He branded virtual instrument.

Back on topic, Beatzille can now be downloaded completely free of charge from Beat Magazine’s official Facebook page (linked below). Please note that you don’t have to be a Facebook user in order to grab the download. Simply visit the Facebook post linked below and follow the provided link to start the download.

Until now, Beatzille was distributed on a DVD that comes with Beat Magazine’s print edition. It was given away online from time to time as well (here’s an example from last year), but it’s never been this easy to download and install your free copy of this excellent synthesizer. Enjoy!

By the way, Beat Magazine has recently launched ZamplerSounds, an online shop offering premium sound packs for the freeware Zampler virtual instrument. We are currently giving away a set of 5 free Zampler sound banks to three lucky BPB readers.

Beatzille is available for free download via Beat Magazine’s Facebook page (51.8 MB download size, ZIP archive, 32-bit & 64-bit VST/AU plugin format for Windows & Mac OS).

  1. mmm :) Beat Magazine should share for free a focusrite, novation etc. plugins which have been shared in last time. Then everybody will be lucky :)

  2. This year has been fantastic. Theres something new almost every day.

Btw, does antone know if this is heavy on the CPU? I know A.C.E is too CPU heavy for my PC.

    • I run a 4GB RAM Core2Duo system and it does consume some CPU (like 10-15 per instance) in my case. If you have better specs (Most of them are likely to have. My PC is little outdated), then it might consume less. You can always bounce Tracks though.

      • Thanks. My specs is worse than Yours, but as long as i dont run too many instances of it will be fine. And yes i could always bounce tracks.

  3. Great Sound, few presets, any have banks for this?

P.D. Some days ago Dexed publish a new version with a better cart, is very good.
