Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio Sale @ Steam (24 Hours Left)

2

Steam gaming service is running a massive sale on Cakewalk products, including SONAR Home Studio, the Z3TA+ 2 synth, and a large variety of sample libraries.

The sale includes the newly released SONAR Home Studio, a great starter package for only €18,39 (the price may vary depending on the currency). The Package includes soft synths, more than 20 professional grade studio effects, over 700 loops, 400 samples, and one-knob FX that are included in the Cakewalk Home Studio Package.

The Cakewalk Home Studio software itself has a pile of cool features, including full support for VST2 and VST3 plugins, and can handle up to 64 channels of audio, meaning that it can handle some pretty hefty projects. Also included in the package are the Cakewalk SONAR Studio virtual instruments, featuring a bass guitar, session drums, strings, and the no-slouch-when-it-comes-to-samples Rapture Session sample player, that has 450 sounds in its arsenal to get you started with your newest project. It also has a guided setup tour, which makes getting started and finding your way around the package a breeze.

Cakewalk includes access to an online mastering service, as well as the ability to upload directly to SoundCloud. A real bonus in the modern online music marketing and sharing environment. Another part of the sale is Cakewalk’s sample libraries for Cakewalk Sound Center, averaging around €11 per product. These libraries tend to be of high quality, belying their entry level price point. They can definitely find a place in a bedroom producer’s arsenal. To sweeten the deal even further, the sale includes a version of Cakewalk Home Studio bundled with the top rated Z3TA+ 2 synth (currently on sale itself for €27,89) priced at €40,26 for the package. Cakewalk is also offering discounts on their flagship DAW packages, and Pro Channel FX plugins.

These specials are valid until the 5th of July and require a Steam account to use. This may not be convenient for everyone, since logging into a third party online service adds the need for online connectivity, however, one would be hard-pressed to find a DAW package with these features at a price point so low.

I honestly believe Cockos Reaper is the best DAW on the market. I have tried and own a few, but Reaper is AMAZING in every way you can think off. I would recommend it to any one who is looking for a fully professional Digital Audio Workstation. And it doesn’t cost to much either. Enjoy! 😀

I totally agree Joseph, Reaper is most definitely one of the most affordable, lightweight DAW’s you can find!
