If you’ve checked out Free Sample Shootout #2 before, then you already know about Real Music Media’s great Open Source DrumKit. Now it’s available for Reason too, courtesy of Nucleus SoundLab.
Hey all, We’ve released a brand-new free ReFill called Open Source Drumkit. Its based on samples originally by realmusicmedia.net and released with their blessing. Basically, you get a sweet 300+mb drumkit, recorded dry, as well as 20+ custom Combinators by Lewis Osborne (our own lewis72 here on the PUF!).
These patches use Kong, so they require Reason 5. However, older versions of Reason can still use the samples and map them in Redrum, NN-XT or whatever.
