Saltline has released ADHDidi, a freeware (Facebook account required!) additive synthesizer in VSTi plugin format for Windows.

Created for facebook fans as a thanks for their feedback and support, ADHDidi is an additive synthesizer comprising of 16 sine waves tuned to different frequencies (fundamental plus the first 15 harmonics).

ADHDidi is available for free download via Saltline (2.8 MB download size, RAR archive, 32-bit VSTi plugin format for Windows).

The instrument is released as a gift for Saltline followers on Facebook. Please note that a working Facebook account is required in order to download the instrument! Simply log in to your account and hit the Like button on the page linked above.

ADHDidi is an additive synthesizer with 16 sine waves and 32 envelopes (with 8 stages for each envelope). It also features a resonant state variable filter, mono/poly mode, and a built-in delay effect.

My favorite release by Saltline thus far is the Liscstep filter effect with a built-in step sequencer. It’s a great tool for processing drum loops and adding movement to static sounds such as pads and atmospheres.
